We welcome donations of sturdy bikes that are in good working condition or any usable bike parts, tools, etc. If you have a bike (parts, tools, etc.) that you'd like to donate, please copy/ paste the text in the gray box below w/ your answers into an email and send it here. Additionally, if you'd like to receive MSU donor credit and a tax receipt from MSU please complete and sign this form and drop it off with your bike(s) and include any addtl. information (i.e. completed eBay auctions, etc.) that would support your estimated value of your bike(s).

If at all possible we'd appreciate you dropping the bike(s) off at our MSU Bikes Service Center on campus. Click here if you need help locating the Center.

If you need to drop off after hours (see this page for current information on our Center hours) or on weekends please leave bikes on the rack outside (west side) of the building from the entrance to our Center.

If you have children's bikes please contact the Kids Repair Program.
KRP operates at the former Lansing School District Driver Education Building at 5815 Wise Rd in Lansing.  517/ 325-7308
Here's an article in the LSJ about that program for more information.

Donation Notes

We welcome donations of bikes that are in good working condition & prefer mountain-bike style bikes (demand for skinny-wheeled/ down-turn handle-bar style bikes is very low, but we'll still take them). Older 3-speeds and single-speed bikes are perfect for campus riding, so we love them. Flat tires, out of true wheels, squeaky chains, etc. are not a problem. We reserve the right to sell donated bikes (that we feel are too nice to make into one of our green loaner-bikes).

Please send an email containing the following information:

1. Your name:
