Looking for a place to lock up your bike out of the rain and snow? Well, we're gradually getting more covered bike parking options around campus. Click here or the photos to the right to see them all.

If you have other suggestions for locations where bike parking is needed please email them to us.  Bear in mind that the older style bike racks and new racks need to be installed where there’s a cement pad or have one installed at significant expense, so unfortunately, they can’t just be dropped anywhere on campus.

Here's some more info. on the topic including some archived info. for reference:

- MSU now has a 2nd indoor bike parking facility on campus! The new location is just inside the Bessey Parking Ramp #2 near the east-side exit. This new location has 2 racks for parking up to 10- 12 bikes and is just 300 ft. from our Center. Please use it! All of the photos can be viewed here. In case you missed it, the first pilot indoor bike parking location is in the CATA bus terminal waiting area (west side) of the parking ramp #5 just south of the Communication Arts & Sciences College, across the street from the MSU Police office.  It’s just a basic bike rack of the older style, but at least it’s out of the weather and heated, etc.  There’s also an ATM and lights in there.  Please help prove that indoor bike parking is in high demand and start using this rack.  We’ll be monitoring it’s usage as best as possible; if you find it full of bikes or have other observations about it pls. email them to us.

One other new bike parking facility on campus is on the north side of the MSU Transportation Services office which is on the east side of Spartan Stadium near the gas station/ auto garages.  A map is here and photos are here (pgs. 3 & 4).  This is where you can go to lease a car/ van/ truck for MSU business & also the office that MSU Bikes reports to.  So, now you can ride your bike over to the Transportation Svcs. office when you need to lease a vehicle for a conference or whatever and lock it up properly!
